Ok I just want to say that this Blog my stay inactive for a long time but can still be used as a contact form. quick guess would be untill I reach canada in april 22 at least.

I am headed from Warsaw to Italy and have plans of going down to the alley cat in Budapest to pick up my bicycle touring stuff and some other things which I collected while in Budapest being what I can’t remember right now I hope to be there thursday aat the latest I still have to organize myself for the trip completely including shipping another bike frame after shipping a complete bike on thursday, mail to a bunch of people and so on and so forth I am looking forward to 5 weeks in italy then making my way to Manchester,flight april 20, mean and mode unknown at this point as always there are many ideas one of them including riding part way as dictated by knee strength I would love to ride all the way but don’t know if it is possible. the doctor said to ride as much as i can for exercise but I don’t think this is what he was thinking.

For tho’s who didn’t yet know I got hit by French guy driving a volvo in Warsaw. I was working as a messenger on the Horse which carried me across europe.

I don’t remember the crash itself, however I do remember thinking of the ambulance driver as an angle. I don’t know anything about the accident until I woke up in the ambulance. From there I stayed in the Hospital for two nights for observation in case of internal bleeding or other complications. I was Wearing my helmet which I am sure saved my life.

That’s the deal. this last week has been spent sitting in my Warsaw apartment. Most of the time just on the computer(and downloaded movies) and Video games. I am taking trips to the grocery store and around the neighbor hood when I get out(off my bored ass).

I came to warsaw and every started telling me about the many many traditions that they have for christ mass here. Christmas for polish people is a full day event starting early, including 12 courses of food(including fish that tastes bad) some of which are only prepared for this day. another tradition has something to do with when you see the first star in the evening. I am very courious about all the different things and which are not the exact same in every family.

All this said I just got my train ticket and I am spending christmas in berlin with some people who feel alot like family to me. It will be nice to see the german capital again this time in the peak of holiday swing.

edit: not disapointed about missing polish christmass just thought I would tell everyone about it.

I was very fond of the people here in Poland and Said I wanted to come back. After a stay in Budapest I decided to return to Warsaw. I am here looking for the same things i was looking for in Budapest, an apartment, language lessons and a job(preferably one which lets me ride my bike all day.) I am allot more motivated the last couple of days in this new city and If i can continue to stay motivated thenevery thing will work out fine. If I drop the ball again I live have to move in with some friend in a city south of here which is close to some nice ski slopes.

Budapest is possibly/probably my new home for about 6 months. I am going to miss canada but at least I will have polo:

We all want to show off sometimes in our life. somes times cause we are down in the dumps, sometimes just cuse we’re Down with this shit.

to me new shoes is the best part of Budapest so far. I have been wearing the same pair of shimano shoes every day for 5 months and I am happy to be the proud new owner of a pair of non spd shoes. a funny side effect of the shoes is the cheap Pedals I put on my bike for the time being are huge and have had 4 ‘pedal strikes’ causing a few bad bucks. So with a couple of sore spots on the inside of my legs and my new shoes I am planning on looking for a new apartment and a new job and A good Magyar teacher. I have a few things to do here in Buda pest like Thro a big “MINI bike Thunderdrome” party and start a BoozeCruze and build the Bike polo(some people have given me credit for starting it). I am very sad I won’t be seeing many of the people who read this for a while longer but I wanted to challenge myself and here it is.
